This one-of-a-kind vessel is hand shaped and carved from dark clay, then finished with layered surface work and applied porcelain orchid blossoms. The contrast between matte black clay, luminous porcelain flowers, and vertical hand carved surface with layered porcelain slip and white glaze creates depth, movement, and tactile detail.
